Celebrating Children’s Non-Fiction Books

Today is International Children’s Book Day…and of course, I want to encourage you to include non-fiction books as part of your regular rotation of book reading.

Having grown up surrounded by books by Jaques Cousteau, I can attest to the power that non-fiction books have to inspire, entertain and educate.

And as educator and non-fiction writer, I have seen first hand the impact that non-fiction children’s books have on young readers.

In honour of International Children’s Book Day, I hope you will include non-fiction books in your celebrations!
