New Book Arriving Spring 2026

This is one of my favourite parts of the process - seeing the first roughs of a new book. I may be the word wrangler, but when it comes to the illustrations, I am just in awe of how illustrators take the words and transform them into glorious visuals. Seeing the first roughs for my new book that Madelyn Goodnight is illustrating brought tears to my eyes. Her interpretations are beautiful, playful and even a little cheeky. I cannot wait to watch the illustrations evolve into their final form.

I am so excited to bring this new book to you in Spring 2026! It’s my first foray into writing for the younger set and I had such a wonderful time playing with words and language. Watch this space for more reveals as we get closer to pub date!
